Antigravity is Google's answer to Cursor and Claude Code: an agent harness that can run in a dedicated IDE, a CLI, or the 2.0 desktop command center that orchestrates several local agents at once. Individual developers can download it at no charge; Google AI Pro includes entry rate limits and Ultra raises them substantially. Treat it as a Gemini-native agent environment, not a VS Code plugin with a chatbot glued on. Teams already on Google AI Pro get a real reason to try it before paying for a third coding agent. It is newer than Cursor and Claude Code, so evaluate on your repo — don't assume the brand is enough.
