Copilot is still the easiest AI coding add-on if you already work in GitHub. Completions stay unlimited on paid plans; chat and agent usage meter against monthly AI Credits (Pro includes $10 of credits, Pro+ $39, Max $100, with a flex allotment on top). That June 2026 switch matters: heavy agent users will outrun Pro and should be on Pro+ or Max. Business is $19/user/mo and Enterprise $39/user/mo, with pooled credits and admin controls. For completion-only workflows, Pro at $10 is still excellent value. For agentic coding as a daily driver, compare Copilot Max against Cursor Pro+ and Claude Code rather than assuming the $10 plan covers it.
